Citizen Services

Citizen Services brings together IRARA’s experience in engagement, advice, casework, signposting and practical support whilst staying close to the organisation’s mission and values. 

This area focuses on services where people need clear information, trusted guidance and practical help to navigate important decisions or access the right support. Our experience in returns and working with diverse groups has shown that individuals are often at their most vulnerable during periods of transition or uncertainty, making timely and person-centred support crucial. By recognising these moments and drawing on our deep understanding of a variety of cultural backgrounds and lived experiences, we are well placed to provide accessible, inclusive services that empower people when they need it most. It supports governments, commissioners and partners to deliver services that are accessible, inclusive and person-centred.  

This area may include: 

  • Community engagement and outreach 
  • Information, advice and guidance services 
  • Casework and supported decision-making 
  • Signposting and referral into relevant services 
  • Support for individuals navigating complex systems 
  • Programme support for government, commissioner or partner-led services 
  • Person-centred support where trust, accessibility and clear communication are important
