Return and Reintegration Assistance Program (RRAP) – Australia
Help is available for eligible non-citizens to leave Australia voluntarily through the Return and Reintegration Assistance Program (RRAP). IRARA collaborates with the Australian Government to deliver reintegration assistance to eligible individuals and families under this program.

What is the RRAP?
This program helps eligible non-citizens to voluntarily return to their home countries. Under this program, IRARA offers a range of services to eligible individuals, providing support pre and post arrival back in their country of origin.
What Assistance can be Provided?
Individuals may be eligible for help before and after they depart. This could include:

Pre-Departure Information:
- Returning individuals whilst in Australia can contact IRARA to discuss reintegration options.

Cash Assistance:
- Cash payments into a bank account
- Dependent Children can be supported
- If approved, cash will be paid after you have returned to your country of origin

In-Kind Assistance:
If approved, potential in-kind assistance can be provided for:
- Rehabilitation services
- Accommodation support
- Short technical/vocational training or language courses
- Assistance in creating linkages to employment opportunities
- Health services, including in-patient treatment or ad hoc medical appointments.
- Other services may be considered so discuss these with the IRARA team
Who is eligible to apply for Reintegration Support?
If you are an eligible non-citizen returning to your home country from Australia or Nauru voluntarily, IRARA can help you rebuild your life through the provision of reintegration assistance.
