Our local operation centre in Nepal is a collaboration with World Net Human Resources (WNHR) who are a non-political, non-religious, purpose driven organisation originally established in 2007 to address the issues faced by ethnic lower caste young people in Nepal and returning military personnel from the Nepalese and Indian Army.
From our headquarters in Kathmandu we provide support services to individuals and their families that include:
- Arrangements for temporary housing
- Family reunification
- Medical referral
- Small business advice
- Ongoing social counselling
Unemployment in these groups is a particular challenge in Nepal and to address this we have a dedicated team that help secure long term employment for returning individuals.
To date we have managed to place 2500 Individuals into permanent employment, which is a key factor in ensuring that they are able to make a positive impact to Nepalese society.
